Less Than 600 More Facebook Fans and We All Get to See the 'Revenge of the Electric Car' Trailer

In case you didn't know, "Revenge of the Electric Car"—the follow up documentary to the groundbreaking and cult favorite "Who Killed the Electric Car?"—is set to be released in Spring of 2011. "Revenge" covers the electric vehicle's tale, picking up from where the documentary's producers once lamented its death to its vigorous resurgence as of late.

From the film's Facebook fan page: "From a backyard mechanic converting classic Porsches to deep behind closed doors at Silicon Valley's Tesla and two of the world's biggest car makers, 'Revenge of the Electric Car' tracks the electrifying race to challenge the age of gasoline."

For a few weeks now, the film's producers have been promising to release the first trailer when they garner 10,000 "likes" on Facebook—and we are now within 600 of that goal. So, if you haven't done so yet, head on over to Facebook and click the "like" button. Hell, if you don't have a Facebook account and are an electric car supporter, this just may be the impetus you were waiting for to take the plunge.
