I Selected a pick of some of the Vehicle I Think should be attending EV Fest Electric Vehicle Show 2012, here in Toronto, at the Evergreen Brick Works, on September 9, 2012! What do you think?

EV Fest 2012 is on track this year for an even greater show with nearly 250% of the Floor Space of EV Fest 2011, where we had 36 Exhibitors Attending, from a Tesla Roadster, Chevy Volt, Toyota PHV, Nissan LEAF, Smart ED, Ford Fusion Hybrid, and more from the OEM Community, including 2 spots for our ZERO Motorcycle Dealer! We also had Personal Electric Vehicle Conversions, e-Bikes, Electric Scooters, Mobility Devices, Vendors and Suppliers for Electric and Normal Vehicles, and even 1 Electric Garden Tractor!

See our 2011 Exhibitor list at www.evfest.ca while you make plans to take in this show, as a Guest, Family, or Exhibitor, sharing in and promoting the uptake of Electric Transportation!

By Sept, you might be able to get a Tesla Model S.

· EV Fest · 15 weeks ago

Maybe Even an EV-1! I Have sat in one of them, too! Got Any College or Museum Contacts you know of that would like to support us with an exhibit of one?

As to the Model S - those in the Know (Roadster Owners) - have been encouraging me to get one to the show - Hoping Tesla Inc. can be supportive, and I would like to have a Tesla Corner - with 4 Roadsters, and a Model S, with the Roadsters all pointed to the New Model S, 2 on Each Side!

Good luck with Tesla. They're a great company but, for business reasons, they don't tend to spend their marketing money at green events. Since they consider their market to be the conventional auto market, they tend to try to be at places where people who drop a lot of money on cars tend to be.

Yes, I know a Tesla Model "S" almost-owner ... and of a Signature Model "S". He's a member of our group, The Toronto Hybrid Group. I'm sure that I could sweet-talk him into showing his car ... he might even let you take a picture of it ... just so long as you don't get your finger prints on it!!

I would love to go to the EV Fest but I think the carbon footprint for a flight from the UK is too large for it to be viable

Roland - that is why the concept of solar Powered Planes is being developed - to get past that issue! In the mean time - keep an eye on the website at www.evfest.ca and the blog at http://blog.evfest.ca! The Exhibitor List of Registered exhibitors is growing! Over a Dozen so far! Our First OEM came on board this last week!

Beyond that - for those from the UK that will be here around the 9th of September, 2012, anyway - might as well let them know locally!

I should have the production version of the Zing! done by then. I don't think we have anything else planned for that week.

· EV Fest · 9 weeks ago

Hi Ken. Your statement: "I should have the production version of the Zing! done by then." - which 'Then' is that? The Sept. 9th, 2012 date for EV Fest? And - is that a suggestion that you would like to come and exhibit the New 'Zing'?

Where can I see this, as we go forward? Will you be posting updates on your website? (http://www.zingcars.com/)

I have sat in and driven the Myers Motors Single Seat NmG at their plant, and in the Cushman Electric Vehicles at work - but both had issues with leg room and foot operating locations as to be not comfortable! How tall are you, and will you have ways to accommodate the short and the long (like me)?

By the way - Check out http://blog.evfest.ca/ for a running collection of posts covering what new exhibitors are on board for EV Fest 2012! As the numbers grow, I will get caught up on the site page and list the exhibitors there - by registration order! I just posted an update with 10 more Exhibitors, and it is already in need of an update!
