Way to go Israel and BP!
Remember all, it was Shai Agassi and his Israeli business friends that turned Carlos Ghosen (president of Nissan/Renault) from being an EV hater to committing fully to electric vehicles. I give them full credit for our Leaf.
I'm skeptical that Agassi's battery swap will work but I could be wrong and I'm not sure it really matters. If that's the hook that is needed to get EVs on the road in Israel, then its been done. I suspect that, even more that in the US, Level 2 home charging will suffice for nearly all of an Israeli person's driving. They can't really drive very far before running out of country and friends.
Even if the battery swapping stations go broke from lack of use, the EVs will still be there.
